Last Friday, I mentioned being thankful for Diversity. Today, nearing the end of the last day of Eid al Adha, I remain intensely grateful for diversity; at the same time, I sometimes miss some homogeneity.

Diversity
Today, I’m thankful for Diversity: biodiversity, cultural diversity, diversity of genotypes and phenotypes, diversity of landscapes, foodstuffs, all of the variety in this world. Alhamdulillah! Allah tells us some things about diversity in the Quran, and it’s worth reflecting on and marveling at His magnificence and benevolence in creating all this diversity.
