The Golden Pioneer Museum

Mom and I were on our way to lunch one day, and she suddenly wheeled into a gravel parking lot outside what appeared to be a wildly painted storage shed, and said “I’ll give you 15 minutes.”

I had no idea what I was in for…

Glassware. Rocks. Lunchboxes. Lawn Machinery. Native American artifacts. Cast statues of Native Americans and wildlife. Saddles. And more. And more. And more. And more. Glory be to God.

15 minutes was not enough.

The Golden Pioneer Museum is worth a visit if you’re ever up around Golden, MO. God willing, I’ll be going again one day, with a wider angle lens (everything indoors was shot with the 50mm E) and some faster film…
