MIT Press celebrated Camera Day 2016 with 40% off on all in-print photography books, and given my predilection for theory, I jumped on 5.

Four of them arrived yesterday, and I tore in…

The titles:

And maybe my favorite, but I’ll have to read them all to find out for sure…

Hayes, Kenneth. Milk and Melancholy. Toronto, ON: Prefix Press, 2008.

I could probably write 2 or 3 graduate-level photography seminars around these 4 books… Fun times.

And now to make the time to read them! InshaAllah I’ll make some notes and share some thoughts,  read with an idea that I’m going to lead some discussion… Could be fun!
