Alhamdulillah, Hanabibti and I didn’t just do chores and sit around all weekend. And Alhamdulillah, I didn’t have to work all weekend like last year.

Pics or it didn’t happen? Read on.

Strangely, I didn’t shoot much at all on Saturday. I had the LC-A with me (and the phone), and it was good times, but I didn’t finish the half-shot roll or pull the phone out once.

Yesterday, we went and walked around the West End for awhile, had some lunch, and visited the Dallas World Aquarium. It was absolutely packed, but we jostled our way through without incident. Good times.

After, we went to play some tennis at the newish public court nearby. Pictures, but none worth sharing; but also good times.

And today, we went for a long drive: took Inwood south well into DeSoto, then took Belt Line through Cedar Hill and Grand Prairie back home. Also no pictures; also good times.

But at the Dallas World Aquarium, it was all iPhone all the time. And not just that, it was all Hipstamatic all the time too, and a bit of Cinamatic (to be shared later, maybe).

I had the same problems with the autofocus falling asleep, and I was moving too quickly and the light was too low for shutter speeds sufficient to compensate for my quick movements. But here are 30 quick shots… Maybe there are a couple in here of interest.

For those of you following the Raw processing odyssey, I had some (real or imagined) computer problems a week or so ago, and spent too long fantasizing about buying a new computer and only maybe an hour or so getting it fixed (I think). So I’m a bit behind, and I sorta lost my place. In sha’Allah I’ll get back to work on that soon, and have the next review up later this week.
